Bought the replacement blades early this year. Went to change out blades from last year and at least the half of the springs are missing holes. They were not stamped properly and still made it into the package. Others did not secure the blades tightly due to the dimple not properly stamped. I had to mix and match blades to springs in order to put an arrow together. Luckily I only need to change a few blades out from last year. Really disappointed because I really like these broadheads. I’ve only harvested 3 deer with them but they fly well and do some major damage. Was hoping I could save a few dollars by purchasing the replacement blade package. Probably just better off buying the set of 3 for $10 more. These are not simple to remove and replace, but not because of the new blades. My experience says that when a set of blades need replaced it is because they went into and out of an animal. The last blade I replaced was because it went through and then landed in the dirt. Another I replaced was because it came from a deer who had it sticking out of the opposite side and was dug into the dirt by that dying deer. All that to say that when you remove these blades you will need to scrub the broadhead base and get all of the dirt and blood out of the nooks and crannies. This is not hard, but time consuming. If you will take the time to fully clean then this is now a simple job.If you do not completely clean then you will find that these won't properly open once installed. You'll get frustrated with the blades and blame them.I love the NAP Spitfires and in past years I have used the replacement blades with no problems. That being said, the last 2-3 times that I have ordered these replacement blades, the retainers are too big. The holes don't line up at all. I have had to file them down (at the risk of bending them) to get them to fit or just reuse the old ones. NAP, what's up with your quality control? I have used Spitfires for over 20 years, tried Rage 1 time (it didn't open, lost the deer), and went back to Spitfires. The replacement blades work fine, the problem is the retainers.Have been shooting Spitfires and can only say... they are excellent. Fly really well and cut well on big game. The overall design is of the blade replacement is a bit tedious. Also, they are fairly expensive for replacement blades - about $7 per broadhead. You can buy the entire new broadhead for about $11. If you get a full pass through and drive into the earth, you almost have to replace the blades as they are not easy to handsharpen... making these almost disposable and expensive broadheads - which is rough. My personal experience is that using and hand sharpening fixed blades, like Montecs, is much more economical -- if that is a chief concern.Retention “clips” are too long, you have to cut them (carefully) to make them fit.Haven’t changed out the blades yet. These blades look right. Seem to be a good value for the money and are the right blades for my Spitfire.I wanted to like these so bad. I had heard such good things but they really were terrible.I spent the first couple weeks with my new crossbow just shooting 100 grain field points over and over, accuracy was amazing. At 45 yards I had to aim at different dots so that I didn't robin hood my arrows. Hunting season was coming up so I ordered these, between forums and reviews everyone seemed to love them. They were inconsistent. POI was around a couple inches low and a couple inches to the right, but they weren't consistent even at 30 yards with about a five inch spread. There were also random flyers up to 8 inches, who knows what was happening there. Field points are still grouping at about half an inch, me/the crossbow are accurate enough to not be a factor. Then the blades started breaking, they snapped at around where they start to curve at the tip. And the metal things that hold the blades in place got bent up, making the broadheads unusable. I'm shooting into a Block Classic target that's meant to handle broadheads, that shouldn't happen. So I ordered a set of replacement blades and I started switching the bad blades out (which is a massive pain). I soaked and scrubbed the broadheads in scalding water, thinking that maybe there was just foam or something in there making it fly funny. It didn't help.In short, these were a massive waste of money and I still have no idea why they suck out of my crossbow. I'm moving on to fixed blade broadheads, there's less that can go wrong with those. The blades were fineThe piece of sheet metal with the dimple in it holds the blade into the head during flight. This is fineHowever the hole in the sheet metal did not line up with the hole in the broad head and the retaining screw could not thread in. I used the original piece of sheet metal I took out, and it all went back together. You will want to find a better flat blade screw driver to install the retaining screw, the one they give you is difficult to use.Les petite tôle son trop grosse...Dans la description ces bien écrit que ces pour les spitfire...A ne pas acheter
