Yes it is small. It is meant to be. This is a very well crafted knife with great steel. The S35VN will hold a great edge while still giving you superior corrosion resistance. One review complains about the steel not being polished, well it is a stonewalled finish so it's not supposed to be.The chisel edge is sharp and allows for easy edge care. The sheath is a high quality leather that does not have a belt loop but has holes for rigging it how you want.it comes with a fair amount of paranoid that can be used to wrap the tang if you choose not to use the included scales (2 sets).Overall this is a well made knife with great S35VN steel that is packaged so that you can customize it and make it your own.I liked this enough that I also bought the larger Snody Big Boss and Snody Snake Charmer as well.
