I am a long time user of Freud circular saw blades and employ this particular blade in a compound miter saw. This purchase was a replacement for a like blade that was accidentally damaged. I have been quite pleased with the smoothness and accuracy of the cuts in a variety of wood materials and like the thin kerf feature, particularly the noticeably lighter weight over a standard kerf blade. There should be a bit of a power savings though that is not critical for my saw.Se ve de muy buena calidad, está en fase de prueba para determinar cuánto puede durar pero en la primeras pruebas se ve de buena calidad. El tiempo de entrega desde el momento de la compra fue de 5 días en totalPut it on my track saw for ripping plywood. Just cuts as fast as you can push it. And the cut is about as clean as you can expect to get. No splintering. Super satisfied.Bought this to cut 10mm hard resin (plywood type) board. Cuts without splintering. Great for high end finish work.I originally bought this Freud blade just to see how it compared to the Festool blade.Out of ignorance, I foolishly used my TS 55 and the stock blade to cut a few pieces of laminate flooring. After that, my Festool blade cut terribly and would smoke and bog down in 3/4" plywood. I did some research and found that the laminate flooring will ruin carbide saw blades--there are several stories on the Festool Owners Group site where others discuss doing the same thing with both their TS and Kapex saws. In my case it was a TS 55 and a DeWalt miter saw.At the time, I didn't know I had ruined my Festool blade--just that it could barely cut through plywood. So last weekend, I removed my dull Festool blade and put in this Freud blade. It cut through the plywood like butter. Zero smoke. Very little effort required to push the saw--I just helped it along and it floated along the track. The Freud blade was fantastic. However, with those positive comments, I had to immediately return the first Freud blade I received. After receiving it, I just happened to look at the teeth. Something about one of the teeth looked odd, like it was cut at a different angle. After looking closer, I saw that the carbide was chipped. 1/4 of the tooth was missing. I looked at the rest of the blade, and found another tooth that was chipped, missing 1/2 of the tooth. The blade obviously didn't get proper QA. I have many other Freud blades and bits that I love, and have never seen anything like this.I returned the blade the same day back to Amazon, and they shipped me a replacement right away. The new blade is perfect and works great. If you order any of the Freud Festool blades, make sure to carefully inspect all of the teeth. But I highly recommend this blade for the TS 55--don't listen to the Festool accolytes that say you should only use Festool blades. For the price, the Freud blade works well for me.So this I believe is how close to high end cutting you'll get on laminate with a hand or simple table saw. When cutting with a bit of paciense I get perfect cuts on both sides. But rush the cut and there are some small chips.Have not done a ton of cuts so don't know about blade life. But very satisfied customer here all the same.Really impressed with the smoothness in cutting compared to my old blade. Highly recommend this bladeGreat substitute blade for the Festool plunge saw. Smooth and accurate cuts. After reading quite a few 5 star reviews I decided to buy this blade to complete a 6 large drawer project involving 10 cuts of 600 mm and 16 cuts of 295 mm using 16 mm Melamine sheets. After the first cut I was convinced I made the right choice as there was no chipping on the top and bottom of the cut. After a few cuts chipping appeared on the top of the cut while the bottom was still good, but unfortunately from now on the cuts just deteriorated on both sides to an unacceptable level to look like the top in pic 4.Unhappy, should have send it back for a refund.I've been trying for years to find a 7-1/4" blade that will cut melamine without chipping. This saw blade is perfect, no chipping using a battery operated Dewalt circular saw. 20volt max. Of coarse that is using a straight edge like the BORA SAW GUIDE CLAMPING STRAIGHT EDGE. Works perfectly together. Both sides of the melamine are perfect, no chips. We gave this saw blade a try on our Festool table saw. We are a company and do a lot of millwork and do a lot of cutting. This saw blade has the same durability as a Festool sawblade.Amazing Sawblade. Why spent a lot of more money if you can get the same quality for less ?This blade is simply excellent! I was a cabinet making pro for a couple of decades in my youth, wish I had blades as good as this on back then. You can cross grain shave 1/64" off a piece of solid oak flooring and have something close to a glue joint. This blade transformed my Costco compound miter saw into an actual instrument. All the properties listed are correct: augments a low powered saw, thin kerf, lessens heat build up, etc. Did an urgent high-skill repair to an oak floor (for an appliance replacement) with this thing and it made my burden lighter.
